I have been working with clay for over 52 years and never tire of its silken, fleshy feel in my hands.

I  do a lot of burnishing when the clay is leather-hard, using a smooth  stone and a chamois cloth.  I find that the rhythm of this process is  very meditative and satisfying.   All of my work reflects the wildlife  around me in all its variety.
